Stocks Controller Full Time

Job Description:

Ensure integrity of stocks

Carry out spot checks on physical stocks and document

Evaluate and monitor stock processes regularly to ensure compliance, and to

(continuously) improve stock control environment.

Daily mass balance reporting

Scrutinize/Analyse stock reports from Navision to resolve stocks discrepancies such as

variations, imbalances, in transits, un-cleared sales etc. that will affect product

loss/gain.

On a daily basis ensure the stock position in Navision for mass balance are the same

Ensure no supplier has negative inventory in Navision

Ensure that source and control documents affecting stock movements are checked and

filed as per Puma and legal requirement.

Provide assurance on Stocks Management processes.

Depot and site stock movement analysis

Key Responsibilities:

The Stocks Controller will be responsible for;

Unexplained product working gains/losses

Volume and value of product unexplained write off

Value of product downgrades as a percentage of total plant throughput

Optimize unit operating cost of the depot

Requirements:

Work Experience:

At least 2 years previous experience in fuel Depot/Tank Farm Operations, Controlling

Education:

B.Com: Accounting, B.Com: Logistics Management

Skills:

Accounting Knowledge, Proficiency with standard office software and equipment; knowledge using internet and e-mail; excellent verbal and written skills in local language
