The ideal candidate should have the following:
A minimum of a BSc. or Msc Degree in forestry management or other related sciences,.
A PhD in forestry management or other related sciences will be preferable.
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience of which must be at a relatively senior level in a forest research, training and development.
Innovative research skills with a bias towards forest, management transformation and conservation.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to write clear reports to suit various clientele.
Excellent team building and participation skills
A high level of self motivation and results orientation
A high level of maturity mature and should not be less than 40 years of age.
