Applicants must have at least an earned PhD in the field of Environmental Chemistry or closely related discipline or should be a registered PhD student and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or closely related discipline with a Merit pass or better. A good foundation degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science is a must.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide academic leadership to the Department, initiate, guide and contribute to basic and applied research programmes in the Department as well as teach the following courses at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level: Fundamentals Chemistry, Introduction to Environmental Pollution, Environmental Toxicology, Cleaner Production and Recycling. In addition, the candidate, will be expected to co-ordinate and participate in the supervision of Undergraduate and Postgraduate research students. Soil Physics (1 Post)
Applicants must have at least an earned PhD in the field of Soil Physics closely related discipline or should be a registered PhD student and a Master’s Degree in Soil Physics with a Merit pass or better. A good foundation degree in Soil Science is a must.
